I design tools for people doing work that matters. 

I didn't start out in product design. I studied molecular bio and worked in education, which lead to me to Coursera. I learned there how modern products get built and decided I wanted to design them myself.

This winding journey's made me a pretty good problem-solver and taught me that the best solutions, no matter how simple or complex, are grounded in a deep understanding of people.

Outside of work, I dig for records and make electronic music, play with my kid, and learn about as many things as I can.
