I design products that help people do their best work. 

I didn't take a traditional path into product design. Before becoming a designer, I built new educational products with universities around the world, drawing on a background in science, education, and program development. Eventually, I realized I wanted to be the person designing the products, not just talking about them.

That led me to Carnegie Mellon to study Human-Computer Interaction. Since then, I've designed products at LinkedIn and Benchling, from consumer-scale experiences to complex enterprise software for scientific research. I enjoy turning ambiguous problems into products that are thoughtful, intuitive, and practical to build.

Outside of work, I make electronic music, occasionally rock climb, and enjoy goofing around with my kid.
